Westcourt Spearfishing Store — Ocean Universal

Ocean Universal in Westcourt, Cairns has a solid spearfishing range. That's no accident — the shop was originally Spearfishing Superstore, so spearo gear has always been the core.

In stock you'll find rail spearguns, camo wetsuits, long-blade fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, and general spearo accessories. It's all chosen for tropical conditions — not imported cold-water stuff that wasn't made for FNQ.

They became Ocean Universal because the shop had already branched into scuba and freediving gear over the years. But the spearo side hasn't been reduced. Spearfishing is still a core part find more information they do.

The crew are local spearos and advise on what works on the local reefs.
